Introduction I've been at Edward Jones since 2003 and have found the career I love. We use a five step process to help you turn your needs into specific financial goals and then develop strategies to achieve them. Step 1: Where am I today? Step 2: Where would I like to be? In looking at your goals, we look to take into consideration planning for: Emergency funds Home ownership Catastrophic risk Retirement Education funding Estate considerations Education I earned an MBA from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville in 1986, and I graduated with merit from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1980. Military Experience I served on active duty as a U.S. Navy Supply Corps officer for a total of six years. I spent 2.5 years on USS TULLIBEE (SSN-597) and 2.5 years at NAS North Island in San Diego. I continued my service in the Reserves for nine years and am now a retired Commander. Family My wife, Robin, and I have two children, Elizabeth and Adam. Elizabeth and her husband Quinton are Navy veterans, and they have two children. They reside in Severna Park, MD. Adam and his wife Kylie have a daughter and they reside in Farmington Hills. Community I am a past president of the Novi Rotary Club. I'm the Vice Chair of the Novi Rotary Foundation. Finally, I chair the Staff Parish Relations Committee for Novi United Methodist Church.
