Experienced BIM Technician with a demonstrated history of working in the Structural / Civil & Infrastructure (Rail, Tunnels, Bridges), Industrial (Oil and Gas) engineering sectors. Skilled in AutoCAD, MIcrostation, Revit & AecoSim. Strong engineering professional. Multi-disciplined and proficient in 2D / with partial 3D modelling experience, coordinator and designer plus management. Extensive work on new–build and refurbishment projects for industrial and residential building projects as well as high-profile public buildings in the UK and overseas. More recently moving into BIM Information Management roles, which now is the preferred chosen career route. Experience in BIM / Information Management leadership rolls on a number of high profile projects I ensured task teams have the capability to produce the information in accordance to standards, methods and procedures, while insuring governance across specific processes enforcing the project team is notified on correct ways of working in delivery of the project using the CDE and liaising closely with document / project control teams. This helped to meet client’s requirement’s in managing internal teams to deliver a quality product for client approval in implementing best practice methods of working and in using information management systems for delivery. Knowledge of BIM Level 2 (PAS1192-2, BS1192-4, PAS1192-5) which enables collaborative ways of working and ensures standardisation of processes and uniformity of information.
