About Markanthony Staha

As a thirty-six year industry professional, My career has led from Texas to San Francisco and Santa Fe, to Paris France and Cape Town South Africa. The crossing of oceans and continents has vastly enriched my culinary instincts and experience as well as creating an initial interest into the world of wine. Looking for a change, the decision was made to place down my knives in 2016. With that same passion of the culinary arts, I refocused that passion toward the wine industry. In 2018 I became a level one Sommelier while working for one of the largest fine wine and spirits retail chains in Houston, running two wine departments over my six year tenure. Currently I am expanding this knowledge into the distribution and spirits world of the industry.
