About Markku Ruhanen

With over 15 years of experience in sales and business development in the industrial processes and renewable energy sectors, I am a project manager at ANDRITZ, a global leader in engineering and technology solutions. I manage the A-Recovery+ Recovery and Power projects, which are designed to optimize the energy efficiency and environmental performance of pulp and paper mills. My core competencies include new business development, key account management, sales processes and management, and customer service. I have a proven track record of delivering results and solutions for clients ranging from start-ups to international groups. I have also developed long-term customer relationships in various markets, especially in Asia, where I worked as an area manager for four years. I hold a Master of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Technology, Helsinki, and a Kasvutarinat hyvään hallitustyöhön certification from Tekniikan akateemiset TEK. My mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of the industries I serve with my engineering expertise and customer-oriented approach.
