About Marko Isaksson

I am an experienced software engineering leader, and I am looking for new challenges on which I could the best use of experience and skills that I have gained along my past. I am a strong believer of continues learning and I am motivated by working with leading edge technologies. The following highlights some of the main skills that I have acquired while working with complex software projects. Leadership: In my professional history I have demonstrated my ability in leading and working together with high performing individuals and cross-functional multi-site teams. I am a serving leader and I believe the success will be achieved by empowering teams and individuals. I have experience in working in leadership boards. Communication: Communication is essential for organization and cooperation to work efficiently. Communication and information sharing over organizational boundaries have key tools when I have been responsible of multi-site operations and head of development centers. Project management: I have comprehensive experience in software projects, and I have had roles and responsibilities throughout the software development lifecycle: product management, project management, development, delivery, and customer support. In addition to my practical project management experience, I have IPMA D project management and PRINCE2 foundation certifications. I also have ITIL® 4 foundation level certificate. I am experienced in Agile methodologies including SAFe. Problem Solving: Along with my career I have come across many organizational and technical problems and I am very used to tackling them. I am well organized and pragmatic in decision making. Technical proficiency: As engineer I am interested in technical solutions and with continuous learning I have always done my best to keep my technical expertise in level that efficient and working leadership requires. Change management: I have experience in making organizational changes, I have up-scaled and down-scaled organizations according to business needs. I have worked both in large corporate and companies in start-up mode. I have successfully implemented new processes and ways of working and methods. I am motivated by leading and working with highly trained professionals and carrying responsibility, and I enjoy when working days bring along new challenges.
