About Marko Mikkonen
My occupational interests lie win biomedical engineering, with a strong basis in neuroscience and medical image analysis. Lately I have been working with medical device R&D within the software development field concentrating in (semi-)automatic analysis of medical imaging data (MRI, CT, CBCT, you name it) in the head and ankle regions. My rather naïve dream is to be able to provide better life quality for people and for this, I've tried to acquire as versatile a background as possible so that I could work as an interpreter between medicine and science to make the world a bit better place. Outside the office, I can be most often found either from a dojo training/teaching Korean martial arts or from a climbing gym.
