About Marko Nyman

I'm an experienced software professional with a background of more than 20 years working in the private sector in different domains including medical devices, functional safety, industrial control automation and mobile phones. Formal verification, quality assurance, technical processes and related tooling are the things that I enjoy working with. I'm not afraid of standards nor regulations and I have worked fluently with them as part of my daily work. I think that the value delivery of development efforts needs to be maximized with the help of processes and tooling, but without causing unnecessary disturbance due to formalism. Agile way of working and DevOps are the inspiration driving me forward in my work. By doing and setting examples I want to coach and help my colleagues to also adopt these methodologies. I want to spread the spirit of continuous learning and team work because I think it helps getting more things done while growing the collective mastery of the group.
