Hi there! I’m Marko, an Information Security Officer with a passion for safeguarding digital environments and enhancing organizational resilience. Currently, I serve as the Information Security Officer for Finland and Estonia at Fujitsu, where I report directly to the Europe CISO. As part of our Global CISO Function Security Team, I play a crucial role in: • Strategic Cybersecurity Leadership: As a member of the Country Leadership team, I lead initiatives to identify, evaluate, and report on cybersecurity risks, compliance (ISO27001:2022), and security measures that support our business objectives. • Collaboration with National Agencies: I represent Fujitsu in key national cybersecurity initiatives, including our partnership with the National Emergency Supply Agency. My involvement extends to Digipooli, MIL-pooli, VAHTI, National Cyber Security Center, and Itä-Suomen ELVAR, where I work to ensure our strategies are aligned with national standards and best practices. • Advocacy for Cybersecurity Governance: I am particularly interested in contributing to corporate boards focused on information security. I believe that effective governance of cybersecurity risks is essential for sustainable growth and resilience. My goal is to leverage my expertise to help organizations navigate the complexities of information security at the board level. With a commitment to fostering a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management, I thrive on collaborating with teams to drive continuous improvement in cybersecurity practices.
