About Marko Rman

I'm a highly experienced Embedded Software Engineer and currently serve as Chief Software Engineer at Emsiso. Over the past decade, I've been involved in the development of more than 30 custom embedded systems for external customers—ranging from industrial control and motor drive systems to BMS and sensor-driven applications. My expertise lies in STM32 and Aurix Tricore platforms, developing both bare-metal and FreeRTOS-based firmware. I’ve worked extensively with communication protocols (CAN, CANopen, J1939, UDS, UART, Ethernet, USB), as well as storage and sensor interfaces (SD cards, accelerometers, pressure sensors, and more). I place a strong focus on writing simple, clean, and maintainable code. Whether it's a quick prototype or a production-grade system, I believe long-term readability, stability, and code architecture are just as critical as performance. I designed and implemented the software architecture for a motor inverter product line supporting multiple hardware variants, which has been successfully maintained and upgraded over several years. As Chief Software Engineer, I've also served as the primary technical contact for customers, helping define architectures, clarify specifications, and ensure delivery of robust solutions. I'm always looking for better, smarter ways to solve problems—evaluating new tools, methods, and technologies to bring state-of-the-art solutions into embedded systems.
