About Marko Saban
Passionate about nurturing talent at the intersection of science, engineering and business development. Marko is a former Director of Scale-Up Engineering Lab at the Xerox Research Centre of Canada. The Lab was responsible for new process development, process piloting, QC, QA, and tech transfer to manufacturing. He is a co-inventor on 44 US Patents. After 27 years of RD & E experience at Xerox Marko has decided to move to academia and pursue his passion for teaching. Marko was an Industrial Professor at McMaster University where he taught Polymer Capstone from 2010 to 2021.Marko is currently an Industry Coordinator for CHE430 (Chemical Plant Design) course at the University of Toronto, Department of Chemical Engineering & Applied Chemistry. In this role he is recruiting clients and projects for ChemE Capstone, lectures on a number of design topics, and works closely with Academic Course Coordinator. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Ontario and a senior member of AIChE. Outside work Marko is a master oarsman, and voluntary Board Member of the DRC of Mississauga.
