About Marko Siivonen

Summary I remember the first day when I dreamt about making it big. And I also remember the day when I made it. In between there are some 16 years, life beyond big oceans, trials and errors.Now thirty years later I can easily conclude that I have had the opportunity to enjoy a lot of success. At the same time I can summarise, that working as a professional coach among top athletes, thought me to let go of many things, even things that surprised me. The most important thing I let go was the necessity to succeed. You can and you must enjoy success, but you definitely cannot control success. Today in many places, it has become a compulsion to succeed, and it is monitored quarterly by key performance indicators. It seems that success can only be found in results, balance sheets, rates, share options and profits. We have forgotten that success should be lived, not to be monitored nor forced to take place. To live and breathe success is a BIG THING and beautiful in its simplicity. Shouldn’t it be your turn to shout “GOODBYE CONTROL – WELCOME SUCCESS”! From there starts the journey of success. What it demands, what does it consist of, how does it work – that is my job to reveal to you, and that is what I also want to tell you. My dream today is that you as well could live out success.
