About Markos Sorhe

I am a professional, detail-oriented, and hard-working team player, who has built my academic and career expertise around the marketing and financial sectors. I have spent the last 10 years working in retail and sales. This has given me hands-on experience with the balancing of daily cash flow and face-to-face customer service interactions. These interactions have given me continual insight into the needs and wants of my consumer base. I opened my own business in 2014 and have run all aspects including finance, accounting, marketing, and customer relations. Because of the success of my own company, I have had others come to me for consultation and assistance in growing their own businesses. In 2017, I worked with a transportation dispatching company to assist with financial accounting, auditing, marketing, and growing relationships with brokers and customers alike. In 2019, I provided consultation for the startup of multiple small businesses; assisting with launching their products and establishing their initial clientele. In addition, I organized and directed a fun run for a nonprofit organization, bringing the surrounding community together, while encouraging healthy activity. I am seeking a position in which I can utilize my organizational, leadership, and financial management skill sets, to increase profitability and growth.
