About Markus Amering

I am a Master’s student in Management at WU Vienna, ranked among the top 1% of my class, with international experience gained during an exchange semester at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. My academic work focuses on finance, international business, and the impact of geopolitical developments, reflected in both my Bachelor’s and Master’s theses. Professionally, I have gained experience at Raiffeisen Bank International, where I worked independently on process optimization, onboarding documentation, compliance management, and international client communication. I also gained leadership experience as a Reception Desk Manager, taking responsibility for training, scheduling, and improving daily operations. These experiences have strengthened my ability to manage responsibilities, solve problems, and drive improvements. Outside of work and studies, I am passionate about continuous learning, with a particular interest in geopolitics and financial markets.
