I am the Vice President, Finance (CFO - Germany, Switzerland, Austria) at Bain & Company. We're a global consultancy that helps the world’s most ambitious change makers define the future. I am a passionate, future-oriented executive leader who empowers traditional financial professionals to become high-performing business partners who drive meaningful organizational transformation. I like building quality and agility into business processes by challenging assumptions and intelligently leveraging cutting-edge technology to save costs, manage risks and increase business insight. But I also like to call myself a Future of Finance Transformer, because that's exactly what my purpose is. As a natural entrepreneur with a ‘let’s-do’ vs. ‘can-do’ attitude. I like professional collaboration efforts that lead to innovative change initiatives that challenge the status quo. I have a unique background (20+ years) of senior experience in all CFO matters and in utilising finance to significantly enhance business growth. I have earned an MBA with distinction from the University of Surrey (UK), I am an international certified accountant, have a graduation in accounting & controlling and an apprenticeship as tax adviser assistant. I am thirsty for continuous training, both in business and in private. In business, I have taken part in the executive training at Harvard Business School and use the unique internal training program. In my private life I trained as a sommelier and diver.
