Computer Scientist by education, seasoned entrepreneur & executive by experience.(Co-)founded 5 companies so far. Currently working as as COO at ubirch GmbH, responsible for internal operations and product management (and this and that; it’s a startup, guys). Quick thinker (and wise guy) with an analytical mind set. Combining a solid technological background knowledge with years of management and leadership experience focused on execution. Getting things done guy. Founded one of Germany’s first Multimedia agencies in 1992, which later became part of Elephant Seven AG (now part of Publicis-Pixelpark, Germany's leading e-Business agency), where he served as CTO and member of the board. After a 2 year sabbatical he held positions as chief consultant, coordinating the consulting activities at his old company, founder and CEO of a new venture (The Otherland Group) and Managing Director of one of Elephant Seven's main offices in Germany. Moving into the online advertising industry next, spending 7 years at nugg.ad AG, which later became part of Zalando Media Solutions, with responsibilities in product management and product management. Specialties/strengths: technological truffle hog, identifying relevant new technologies, matching customer demands and deriving new products at the intersection of the two. Covering business models, technology, UX and (limited to oversight) marketing. Communicator; easily able to boil down complex challenges and their solutions into a compact, easy to communicate form. Can be passionate and enthusiastic in a contagious way.
