About Markus Dorn

For 20 years in the ICT industries, I have been responsible for complex cutting-edge technologies in the field of IoT, digitalization and smart data in the area of Industry 4.0, Smart City and ITS, both as a driving force in a large corporation and in a start-up environment. I can proudly claim to have played a key role in taking innovations from the initial idea to market maturity, and to have used my powers of persuasion to place them in conservative markets. In my role as Product Manager and Digital Consultant in the innovation environment, I was responsible for defining the product landscape as well as for selling the products and was measured against this. Likewise, over the last 18 years, I have been able to gain a variety of international project experience with many clients at both the technical and C-level. I am currently co-founder of an Austrian start-up in transport digitization and advise customers on the transition of classic into digital business models with focus on Smart City and Industry 4.0. I can describe myself as extremely curious, creative, team player and goal oriented.
