About Markus Drexler

As Head of Special Equipment Production at the Dräxlmaier Group, I am responsible for the worldwide special equipment production with local fully integrated production sites in Germany, Romania and Mexico at the Dräxlmaier Group My tasks include ensuring the day-to-day business as well as the strategic development of the sites and for the global business field as part of the strategic roadmap of the Dräxlmaier Group. On the other hand, the continuous optimization of processes and costs of acquisition, development, production and procurement of operating equipment and special machines worldwide, from the offer phase through to series production. In addition to the expansion and extension of the equipment portfolio according to customer requirements, the further development of the locations with regard to technologies and competencies to increase the complexity of the equipment is also part of the task environment. The motivation and development of the global team to promote international cooperation, exchange best practices, focus on costs, deadlines and quality and build strong partnerships with customers and stakeholders is seen as a central task.
