About Markus Ehrmann

I’ve worked in industrial automation and logistics for over two decades and since joining Vanderlande in 2017, I’ve focused on supporting our customers in the fast-moving parcel sector. As Executive Managing Director, I lead our global distribution activities and work closely with our teams and partners to deliver solutions that make a real difference in daily operations. Throughout my career I’ve been fortunate to work with great people across different countries, industries, and functions. What I’ve learned is that building strong relationships and keeping things practical often matters just as much as having the right technology in place. The distribution market is changing quickly, with rising volumes, pressure on labour and growing attention for sustainability. My aim is to help navigate these challenges with a clear focus on long-term value combining innovation, experience, and a commitment to doing things the right way. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and being outdoors. I also like discovering new places and cultures something I often combine with business travel whenever I get the chance.
