About Markus Engblom

I am an IT professional with experience in ERP implementations, integrations and business process optimization. At CGI I work as a Consultant focusing on Microsoft Dynamics 365, working on ERP implementation projects, solution enhancements and helping organizations translate business needs into technical solutions. Earlier in my career I worked as an SAP key user and project manager for Electronic Data Interchange integrations. In that role I led system improvements and managed the transition from manual order handling to online solutions. I have experience working across various internal and external platforms, acting as a bridge builder between developers, customers, and business units to translate business needs into technical solutions. Beyond IT I co-founded and grew Round, a café chain in Helsinki. I managed every store opening from budgeting and renovations to hiring. I also led the development of our own POS system from idea to implementation. Having lived in four different countries I have developed strong interpersonal skills and a global mindset. I adapt quickly, enjoy learning new languages and love exploring how technology can improve everyday life. I’m into tech outside of work too. My home is pretty much a smart home experiment.
