About Markus Gerhard

Experienced Digital Product Designer specialised in UX/UI Development (User Research, Information Architecture, Interaction Design), focused on identifying UX-opportunities and transforming them into digital services & interfaces. With more than 15 years of experience, I developed my core competences in UX-strategy, UX-concept, workshop-design, wireframing as well as prototyping, UI Design & User-testing. I am an analytical and creative problem solver with a forward-thinking mindset and a constructive attitude, believing in listening first, trusting curiosity, being kind, insisting in clear communication, delivering excellent craftsmanship and the simplest solution. I have a background in software engineering, attention engineering, psychology of human computer interaction. On top i can argue with experience in visual design, animation and video production, practical understanding of marketing, sales, business, product, and team management. Beside my UX/UI focus, I can help developing brand identities, web experiences, interactive digital product designs and marketing campaigns. For me it is more important to find a customer centric approach aligned with the business goals of your company, than being too dogmatic about certain approaches like Design Thinking, Lean-UX or any other methodology-stack.
