About Markus Germany

As a trained biologist and Data Scientist I am particularly interested in understanding complex processes and systems such as those found in forests ecosystems or very similar also in financial systems. After graduating, I was given the opportunity to gain experience working in international scientific projects (BEF-China, yDiv). A large part of my work was concerned with computer-assisted data acquisition and processing. Thus, I have extended my knowledge in script and programming languages (e.g. R) as well as in a range of statistical methods (non-/linear and mixed effects modelling, bayesian statistics etc.). At Crif I became familiar with SQL. Furthermore, I am interested in topics such as machine/deep learning and IT based solutions in general. In my current position at Deutsche Bahn my primary focus relates to data-analytics-modelling and consulting.
