I am a Counsel in the German Intellectual Property Group of the major international law firm Baker McKenzie where I work since 2012. My practice focuses on all aspects of trademark, design and unfair competition law - both litigation and advice - and also includes domain name disputes. I frequently handle complex IP litigation matters and represent clients in front of court. My practice also covers non-traditional trademark disputes, including three dimensional marks, as well as other more exotic areas of IP law such as plant variety law. I also advises on transactional matters including employee inventions law, handle parallel import cases and work on the management of global trademark portfolios. During my studies at the University of Freiburg, I already specialized on intellectual property law and have completed my doctoral thesis on IP-infringements in Social Media Company Profiles and obtained a doctor's degree in law, Dr. iur.(PhD), from the University of Wuerzburg.
