About Markus Kanold

I lead teams from within – like a singer in his band.” For me, leadership means not only guiding people but being part of the team, setting impulses that move everyone forward together. With more than 10 years of experience in account and partner management, project leadership, and automotive & IoT tracking solutions, I have learned to connect strategic vision with operational excellence. My career began in the German Armed Forces, where I internalized leadership, strategic thinking, and discipline as an officer. Today, I use this foundation to successfully orchestrate international teams, partners, and complex projects. My career path at Audi, Harman, Alps Alpine, Gamma Europe, and currently as Head of Partner Management at BOX ID demonstrates my range: from leading global alliances to building new business models such as “Tracking as a Service” and driving KPI-based project management. In addition, I co-founded the Kanold-Invest GmbH in 2024, where I serve as Managing Partner (part-time). In this role, I take strategic responsibility for real estate investments, P&L management, and sustainable value creation. This entrepreneurial experience sharpens my perspective on strategy, risk management, and financial governance – complementing my professional expertise as a Project and Business Development Leader.
