About Markus Kari

As the Head of Porvoo ISBL & TA I´m accountable of Neste´s investment project deliveries within several project portfolios. Combined investment value of the project portfolios is around 200 - 250M€ and the needed organization headcount varies between 150 - 250 FTEs The organization focuses on ISBL (Inside Battery Limits) area consisting of all four production lines at the Porvoo refinery. In this position I´m leading all needed activities of successful project execution with the help of skilled and experienced leadership team members and their teams- TA (Turn Around) portfolios - project management & control - engineering - construction management - and various support functions such as solution development, procurement, HSE, quality, HR and project assistance. I´m also a member in several business development programs and/or projects and we collaborate actively with other Neste sites globally. On a personal level my strengths are great interpersonal skills, leading diverse people, organizational skills, decision making, ability to react to changing situations and desire to learn and improve continually.
