About Markus Kittner

Results driven, independent, abstract and analogical thinker, I combine a sensibility for footwear innovation and culture, performance and lifestyle. Working to a holistic Design philosophy to also include other positive impact design deliverables as intergenerational design, education and environmental compatibility, because there are no limits to creative solutions and problem solving. Delivering progressive creative solutions that add value to products and brands, meeting deadlines and price points in fast-paced environments. My international design experience includes Ferrari and Ducati footwear through Fila in Italy. Followed by Pony, Nautica and Nike in California and Oregon. Other footwear brands that I have designed for are Puma, Keen, Bata, Stuburt, Wildling and Duca Del Cosma, designing Athletic, Lifestyle and Kids footwear. With a Master of Design degree I am fluent in English, Italian, French, and speak Spanish and German. My work is balanced with Social Design projects, including work for charitable organisations such as Soul of Africa, personal projects such as the Huarache Blog online platform dedicated to promoting the traditional Mexican Craft of Huarache Footwear.
