As the EMEA ETAC team grew, it was split into separate teams to care for the respective products more efficiently. I myself have changed my position to Fortinet Advanced Service team to continue helping Fortinet and support from this team from inside with technical assistance for FortiAuthenticator, FortiNAC, and related products and technologies, but also trainings and knowledge sharing- Since February 2018 I'm working with an amazing team at Fortinet to support customers with Fortinets can-do-everything FortiGate. As of February 2020 I lead the team of highly qualified experts on network access control and IAM and the integrating products FortiAuthenticator, FortiPAM and FortiNAC. This team evolved to its own TAC in February 2021, we continue to grow and learn with Fortinet- For two years until October 2017 I was working with LG Electronics in Frankfurt for customers in automotive as a Quality Engineer Assistant Manager; to find the answer to the frequent question "why?". So to make it happen that "why" doesn't happen again- Until November 2015 I was employed with the Symantec Corporation, Mountain View, California as a technical support engineer. Apart from the "usual" job, several activities like newcomer trainings or a wide range of product testing, thus product understanding filled my workplace in Frankfurt- A longer stay on one workplace started in 2006, November. I was hired by Jobs in time GmbH as a technician, test engineer at Samsung Semiconductor Europe GmbH (SSEG) in Kelsterbach. My duties were the testing and inspection of LC-displays. The range grew bigger and I got to know more about the in-and-out of the repair center products. Thus I got a bit into the process optimization and the hardware repair/workarounds of specific problems with some aging testsystems, software repair/workarounds for colleagues. In June 2010 I was recruited by SSEG to work in the RMA-Administration in Kelsterbach. So my duties changed to managing the in-and-out product flow for a set of customers. Naturally, checking backgrounds of problems in order to resolve and minimize their count. In January 2011 the branch was taken over by a subsidiary, Tri-Star Europe GmbH and I got re-employed at the same position. With this interesting organizational change, my responsibilities enlarged: A larger customer set, interaction with the corporate partner SSEG, a whole lot of process change, filestructure-maintainer and trainer for the new hires in the RMA-Administration.
