Markus Scherer is the Founder and Managing Director of MaBiMa. MaBiMa is a new and unique consulting firm, as it combines both technology and commercial elements when servicing the chemicals industry. Prior to establishing his consultancy in 2021, Markus enjoyed a 25 years successful career in the downstream sectors of BASF, Henkel (Cognis) and Evonik. He generated a quantifiable track record of multi-million dollar businesses out of technology and marketing leadership positions. Markus established MaBiMa to provide expertise to the chemicals industry in the areas of business strategy, marketing, innovation and product portfolio development. MaBiMa's consultancy is unique as it differentiates via a strong link of commercial elements with technology insights on chemical products.
