About Markus Schnarr
As a result of a year of work & travel in New Zealand back in 2014 I found a passion for land surveying and geomatics. I can provide 10 years of total experience in the survey field and I am looking forward to many more to come.During my studies at the University of Applied Sciences Dresden I spent 6 months working in the surveying department of an engineering company in the United States.I enjoy it to constantly improve my professional skills in the collection of geospatial data with different surveying instruments such as GNSS, total stations, laser scanners, UAVs and more.The further processing of the collected geodata for various CAD, BIM or GIS Applications is another key interest I am permanently improving my knowledge on.In the future I want to share my knowledge by training younger surveyors, develop geospatial strategies for company workflows and projects as well as manage entire projects as a geospatial consultant/manager.
