About Markus Schultz

AI & BI consultant with experience leading and delivering end-to-end solutions in analytics and AI. I work across the full project lifecycle—from planning and estimation to development, deployment, and training. In most projects, I either work as the sole developer or lead junior colleagues. I'm involved in everything from setting up architecture and building data pipelines to creating reports and supporting internal or external teams. My toolset includes Fabric, Qlik, Power BI, dbt, SQL, PowerShell, Azure and Copilot Studio among others. My background as a professional tennis player and coach has given me a strong foundation in leadership, structure, and discipline. I’m used to taking responsibility, staying focused under pressure, and guiding others toward long-term development. These experiences shape how I work in BI projects—whether I’m leading a team, mentoring juniors, or delivering technical solutions from end to end. Clear communication and a methodical approach are central to everything I do. On my spare time I train Crossfit and Hyrox 10-15 hours a week, and I am competing on a regular basis.
