I am an internationally experienced general manager with 30 years experience in different industries and operational businesses as well as strategic functions and very strong focus on sustainable business transformations and leadership topics. • Business experience with P&L responsibility – CEO of a €300 million revenue Services business • Head of Global Bid Management in Siemens Communications fixed networks business and transforming the bid factory into a global bid management at with more than €3 billion bid volume. • 2½ years overseas experience as project manager of an A$500 million telecommunications project in Australia and business activities in more than 30 countries • Leadership and management of large units (185 direct and 1200 indirect employees) • Industry experience in Telecommunications, Telematics / Mobility and IT as well as insights into Energy, Buildings, Digital Factory, Cities and Healthcare • Very strong expert in Sustainability and Business Transformation • Proven track record of top performance • Ability to combine strategic perspectives with operational effectiveness and efficiency Currently I am responsible for Sustainability Management with Siemens including the implementation of Sustainability into the businesses. I am also responsible for our Sustainability reporting and positioning, related rankings and ratings, Human Rights as well as our company-wide Business to Society approach showing the impact of Siemens to the sustainable development of societies. I am holding a degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the European University. I have also taught Strategy at the EU and Globe Business College at EMBA programs and am a certificated Systemic Coach in Business Context. My interest lies in leadership, people and organizational development, sustainability and business development in a global and multinational environment.
