About Marlaena Mann

I am passionate about communications, leadership development, wellness education and social justice. I’m an experienced Communications And Public Relations leader with a 20+ year history of working in the Nonprofit sector. Some of my career highlights include organizational communications management for a large indigenous holistic wellness agency, cultural competency curriculum and program development / instruction, and other program development aimed at improving holistic wellness for individuals and families. I also LOVE strategic planning and have had the great pleasure to work with numerous organizations to support goal setting and attainment! My educational background is in social work and I hold a masters degree in educational leadership from SFU, a professional life coach certification through the ICF, and most recently earned a certificate focused in Indigenous Governance from University of Arizona. Outside of the office I love being in nature, creating art, travel, cooking, and spending time with my family. Oh, and cuddling my cat - who thinks she’s my boss!
