About Marlene Nygaard

I have been working within supply chain for since 2002 national and international, strategic and operational. Achieving a better outcome tomorrow than today, has led me on the journey to develop my competences within supply chain. Strengthened by a Graduate certificate in business Administration within supply chain management. Senior manager within supply chain operations purchase team responsible for replenishment of raw material, stock items and customized products. I do find the managing role interesting as it does bring me energy and joy to see the employees grow. Inventory management of national and Scandinavian warehouses as well as consignment warehouse. Cross functional communication is key word for success and continuous improvements are part of my DNA as well as digitalization projects. Organizations need to improve to adapt to the market and be prepared for tomorrows challenges. I strive for finding the right solution as no task is impossible to solve only gives you more challenges, which are welcome as it makes supply chains agile. Objectives needed for employees and organizations to grow. FMCG (fast moving consumer goods) and packaging material have been the businesses I have been working with primarily but find every business interesting as it is the journey and organization you are part of which forms the interesting environment. The journey is being even more interesting looking at sustainability, CSR and lately ESG which are some of the objectives during the coming years to implement. I am looking forward to the further journey with my present and future connections and partners.
