About Marlene Wells

I am privileged to live on the unceded territories of xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam), Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish) and Sel̓il̓witulh (Tsleil’Waututh) Nations. I am dedicated to contributing to the advancement of Indigenous reconciliation. I am a collaborative leader who creates inclusive environments and, seeks out diverse opinions and ideas to build strategies and solve problems. I provide coaching, guidance and motivation to those around me, and I value integrity, tolerance, openness and curiosity. My strengths include- Building respectful relationships with Indigenous communities/governments and various stakeholders while meeting business objectives - Engaging and building relationships, leading to successful fibre builds in Indigenous communities by listening, learning and integrating community perspectives throughout the development of projects - Strategy development and negotiations - Advisor/coach who empowers others to take action - Critical thinking, conducting research/policy analysis I hold an MBA and an MA in Community Planning.
