About Marley Anthony

I am who I am today because of all the experiences I’ve had. When I first arrived at my college dorm years ago, I never thought I’d become a Software Engineer. I wasn’t sure who I wanted to be, but one thing was certain, even if I didn't realize it then—I possess an incredible level of resilience. My desire to learn and pursue excellence is what has driven me to where I am today. From conducting science demos and shows at Science World to learning how to fly a plane, I’ve been fortunate to experience a variety of careers. Today, I recognize that those experiences fortify me as a developer. My time as a science educator taught me to become a compelling speaker and the importance of being able to “explain it to a 5-year-old.” As a software engineer, I am confident in my ability to communicate effectively with my team and across the organization. As a pilot, I learned to be detail-oriented and remain calm in emergencies. Before each flight, we performed meticulous inspections to identify defects, issues, and other problems, ensuring the plane's airworthiness. As a Software Engineer, I apply this skill daily, whether I’m reviewing someone else’s code or writing my own. My attention to detail is unwavering. Life is about experiences, and I’ve been fortunate to have many. With my 4+ years of Fullstack Coding experience (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js), I am excited to continue my journey of pursuing excellence in this field.
