About Marlin Bohling

I've had a wide array of experience throughout my career, including working as a network farm radio and TV broadcaster, a news contributor for Associated Press, podcaster, webmaster, freelance studio production specialist, and ag producer. On Feb. 10, 2014, I started working as a radio and TV show host and commodity market reporter for satellite based television network RFD-TV and its sister network, Rural Radio, which can be found on SiriusXM channel 147. Our studio operations center moved into its new expanded location on Music Row in Nashville, TN during March of 2015. Previously, I worked for the legendary watt KRVN-AM which has the largest ag listening audience in the entire U.S. I also provided reports for its sister stations on the Rural Radio Network. In 2006, I received the Oscar in Agriculture Award at the National Association of Farm Broadcasting (NAFB) convention in Kansas City for a program I produced highlighting the need to educate our youth about agriculture. I have worked in various capacities including being a Team Lead for a company called Technekes which helps medium and large corporations all across the country Create Demand through multiple marketing support channels. Other facets of my career include 25 years of experience as the operator/manager of a diversified family farm operation in northern Kansas. I was also a District Sales Manager for DTN, an Aerial Observer and Compliance Officer for USDA's Agricultural Conservation and Stabilization Service (ASCS, now the Farm Service Agency - FSA) division, co-owner of a popcorn shop/restaurant/gift shop, owner/operator of an electronic parts and supply business, and I have earned certification as an official storm spotter in the states of Kansas and North Carolina. Utilizing my own digital studio, I help companies, organizations, and individuals by providing voiceover and narration services, commercial and PSA production, testimonial production, and professional studio editing.
