About Marlis Herrick

Currently located in NC, I work remotely with colleagues across the United States as a federal contractor and commute regularly to Pensacola, FL as I pursue business ventures in my hometown community. I am an advocate for sustainable business practices and pragmatic work. Furthermore, I feel passionate about supporting women’s rights and their many roles in the workplace. I pride myself on nurturing my network, taking a human approach to work, and producing consistent and detail-oriented results that exceed client expectations. To begin my career, I relocated to Washington, D.C. to work at Deloitte Consulting LLP as an Analyst in Government and Public Services. My portfolio has since been focused in enterprise performance, specifically, supply chain and network operations. I’ve known how incredibly important logistics and operations technology are to our current market, but I am witnessing first hand the historic shift in focus towards Supply Chain improvement (agility, response, performance, etc.). My role at Deloitte has enabled me to see the scale, financial magnitude, and copious number of moving parts related to government operations in Defense, Justice, Security, and Federal Health. I look forward growing my passions as a Consultant at a globally recognized and forward focused company while leveraging the unique pool of intellectual, skilled and passionate professionals in the United States East Coast, West Coast and South East regions. I am excited to bring learned insights and pragmatic business practices to the City of Pensacola as I invest in my portfolio and expand my local network.
