I am a Partner in our Risk & Financial Advisory business in the United States. I am also the Global Offerings Leader and Global Regulatory & Legal Support Leader for our Global Risk Advisory business. My skills have focused in the regulatory and compliance space in financial services and technology, media and telecommunications. My global roles are focused on enhancing and growing our services around the world and bring those capabilities to our clients no matter where their offices may be. The digital transformation of many of our clients complements the innovation and technology solutions we bring to our clients. My 30+ years at Deloitte have primarily focused on the banking and securities industries. I have worked with clients on operational and regulatory challenges ranging from new regulatory guidance, operational issues, and compliance with SEC and CFTC Financial Responsibility Rules. I've also worked with firms as they merged and separated businesses and legal entities. For the last 6 years I have been working with TMT clients on their journey of increased regulatory scrutiny related to what information is and should/should not be on their platforms, how advertising is brought to users, competition practices and several other areas of concern to governments, regulators and the public. Since 2008, I've led the Deloitte team supporting the SIPA Trustee in liquidating Lehman Brothers Inc. The experiences from that work as well as other efforts I have been involved in during the financial crisis has led to my focusing on Recovery & Resolution Planning ("RRP"). I co-lead the RRP CoE and have focused on serving the largest institutions as they have responded to the Dodd Frank requirements around RRP. Our work has ranged from strategy development, assisting with liquidity and capital model development, shared services assessment and critical services mapping, legal entity rationalization, separability, divestiture planning with data room development and drafting playbooks around FMUs, operational continuity, governance, board responsibilities and legal entity windowns or divestitures.
