Background

About Marlon Carvalho

I have a solid career in technology that began with several years working in a law firm, where I provided technical support and developed a complete Extranet system that automated numerous processes previously done manually or through printed forms. I was also responsible for the firm’s entire infrastructure, including servers, data networks, and telephony. After this experience, I founded my own technical support company, serving multiple law offices and businesses as clients.I later joined Hexagon Mining, first as an intern and then, after graduating, as a software analyst. There, I worked on the development and debugging of FMS (Fleet Management System) software used in the mining industry, using technologies such as React.js, Flow, and occasionally C#. This role strengthened my ability to work with complex, high-criticality systems.Currently, I work as a data engineer, focusing on data modeling and integration, building and optimizing data pipelines, implementing data quality and governance practices, and using distributed processing tools to handle large-scale data.I was recognized as the top graduate of my class at UFMG, a distinction that highlights my commitment to excellence. I also have a strong interest in IoT and digital security, areas in which I continue to expand my knowledge.
