About Marmaduke Loke
I have a passion for building things big or small and seeing them help people. My background in Orthotics and Prosthetics solidified the idea that my work needs to be effective and dependable. I want to work on projects that are innovative, interesting and cover a breadth of skills. I studied human focused robotics to compliment my experience in anatomy, fabrication and assistive devices. My projects have included distributed wireless sensor networks, vehicle ECUs, algorithmic stock trading, a 100kW BMS, advanced carbon-composite K/AFOs, sensory augmentation, augmented reality medical training, a rapid field care orthosis, automatic battlefield cannulation system, aircrew haptic garment and next gen high activity rehabilitation orthosis. I am constantly pushing myself to learn new skills and adapt to take on new challenges in the O&P, and medical device fields. Current PI for two DHA SBIR Ph.2 focused on orthopedic development and battlefield medicine.
