I have been employed full-time or worked as a subcontractor for health care organizations that provide care to seniors and the physically and mentally disabled or provide oversight to organizations that provide care to these specific populations. Twelve years of my career involved direct management of independent living and assisted living communities. I have supervised 25-40 employees across housekeeping, maintenance, dining, office, sales, nursing, and activities departments. Responsible for supervising, training, and delegating work to employees. Worked in a team environment. Communicated with staff in various levels of responsibility, as well as with diverse populations. Reviewed cost, quality and progress reports. I created an operations Policy and Procedure Manual for an Assisted Living Corporation that had 55 communities across 12 states. The manual has over one hundred policies as well as any forms needed to comply with each policy. I also created an Emergency Handbook to aid in disaster planning and a Quality Improvement Tool that is used to ensure compliance with the policy manual. I created a Business Operations Manual, an OSHA compliance binder, and revised multiple policies for an Assisted Living Corporation that had 20 communities across 7 states. I have also created a Worker's Compensation Assessment Tool for an insurance company and completed off-site risk assessments of assisted living communities that were used in the insurance process.
