Before Coursera, I served as the Chief Academic Officer and Provost at Western Governors University (WGU), leading initiatives that vastly improved access, affordability, and academic quality for over students.My career spans leadership roles across a broad range of institutions like the University of Texas System, Columbia University, and the University of Pennsylvania, blending access, student success, and faculty innovation. My international education and institution-building efforts have taken me from Latvia to Turkey and Japan, driven by a belief in education's power to change lives.
