PROFESSIONAL SELF-INTRO: As a passionate manager with 10+ years of experience in the outdoor industry, I bring enthusiasm, adaptability, and leadership to my work while improving systems, enhancing efficiency, and fostering a collaborative environment for personal growth and development. Originally from the US, I left to travel in 2017 and eventually lived in New Zealand before settling on Vancouver Island and embracing my Canadian roots. During COVID, I decided to pursue an MBA to build on my natural aptitude for operations and strategic planning, hoping to bring more business acumen into the outdoor industry. This business training has enhanced my ability to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and design sustainable systems, all while staying grounded in my passion for the outdoors. I am driven by the mission to work with organizations that are dedicated to inspiring others to challenge themselves and care for the planet through outdoor pursuits. WHEN I'M NOT WORKING: I’m out with my husband or dog, always on the lookout for something—whether it’s fresh snow for skiing, the perfect grip on a rock wall for climbing, paddling along the coast in search of orcas, or foraging for delicious mushrooms (with just the right amount of caution). I also enjoy tossing a frisbee, pretending I’ve still got the skills.
