I am a highly motivated senior finance professional with broad commercial experience spanning a number of sectors with 25 years of industry experience in New Zealand (18 years) and the United Kingdom (7 years). My key roles in recent years have been as Group CFO of Auckland City Mission Group, the CFO NZ for a Fortune 500 recruitment company (Adecco), a top tier Intellectual Property and Law firm (Baldwins), large for purpose organisation (Barnardos New Zealand) and as a Business Manager of Services (NZ and the Pacific Islands) for Alcatel-Lucent. My aptitude for strategic planning, risk management and associated back office support functions provide a holistic view and response for reporting, planning and liaison within various boards and sub-committee environments. I have well developed internal and external stakeholder management, influencing and negotiating skills, with experience in driving change through large organisations. Experience in strategy development and implementation, alongside consolidation and rationalisation projects. Proven ability to develop, manage and improve operational and financial processes, within both a project and business as usual environment, including the ability to understand requirements quickly and make decisions independently and of course work autonomously or as part of an executive or corporate team. Over 20 years experience in team management, having managed teams both on- and off-shore.
