About Marshall Grayson

I am honored to serve as the Management and Accreditation Coordinator for the Town of Hillsborough, NC. Since August 2023, I have impacted the Hillsborough community through proactive local government strategies including project management over the Town’s successful completion of both the NCLM’s Risk Review and the comprehensive NCLEA State Accreditation program, budget and fiscal management for the Hillsborough Police Department, improved community engagement through redesigned quarterly transparency reports and an entirely new annual statistics report, redeveloping the municipality’s public facing website, strategic communication with staff and the public, and high-level public administration leadership in daily work. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Master of Public Administration (MPA) program in May 2024. I am also a graduate of Elon University, with degrees in Strategic Communications, Policy Studies, and Political Science. I am excited to continue pursuing a local government career path and look forward to future opportunities to make a difference in my community.
