About Marshall Kistner

Marshall has been actively working in the film and entertainment industry since 2014 and is currently a Los Angeles based Assistant Production Coordinator (IATSE Local 871). His recent credits include various major studio feature films, including “Joker: Folie à Deux” (2024), “Oppenheimer” (2023), “House Party” (2023), “Black Adam” (2022), “TENET” (2020), and more per his IMDB page. Marshall began his career in independent cinema, interning on Richard Linklater's “Everybody Wants Some!” in Austin, TX. He soon after graduated college at The University of Texas at Austin (BS '15) and moved back to his hometown of Los Angeles, CA, to work with Duplass Bros. Productions on a variety of films and television programs. After a pitstop in reality television programming, he made the push into the production office where he currently works as an Assistant Production Coordinator on an array of big budget studio projects. Marshall recently produced his first independent feature film, “Evergreen.” Shot on location in western Colorado, the film went on to play over 10 film festivals across the country, picking up 11 awards including Best Picture by the Houston Broadcast Film Critics Association, Best Feature Drama & Audience Choice at Fort Worth Indie Film Showcase, and various acting and directing trophies from New York to California. The film received North American distribution at the end of 2020 and is currently available to rent/buy on all streaming platforms. From indie intern to the assistant department head of big budget studio fare, Marshall has a wide array of credits, coordination skills, and connections within the studio and independent cinema worlds.
