About Marshall Lipman

It took me relocating internationally from beautiful Napa Valley to Bustlin’ Dublin, Ireland to do some of the most meaningful work of my career; where currently I manage a Regional Event Operation across 6 Cities, with 20 Event Spaces, 6 Technical Producers and over 50 Skilled Technicians delivering over best in class Physical/Hybrid/Virtual Live Technical Productions. I’ve always taken pride in solving Technical Problems and particularly when they lead to positively impacting peoples lives. For the latter half of my career, empowering and growing others to solve complex problems has been deeply fulfilling. In addition, creating strategies across the Enterprise with roadmaps and objectives is something that I've excelled in. I have 13+ years of International AV Event experience; from mixing Theatrical Broadway level shows onboard Cruise Ships, to producing some of Irelands largest corporate events where I was received Industry recognition in the AV Industry Awards in 2010. I have 10+ years progressing within Meta, Ireland where my leadership skills have sharpened. Presently I oversee regional services that deliver > High Impact company events annually. Over the last 5 years, mentoring and coaching has helped me strengthen new skills and do incredibly rewarding work. I’m focusing on executive sponsorship for global programmes like our first ever Remote Operation Centre and a Global Virtual Production Stack built in AWS. I’m accountable to multiple budgets, including a Global Virtual Operation, Regional managed service contracts, and global Equipment budgets. I’m an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner which has helped broaden my Cloud Foundation understanding. I manage 6 Technical Producers, with 50+ team of skilled AV Technicians across 2 Services in 6 Cities who deliver year over year on over High Impact company and external events. I’ve driven sustainability measures to reduce carbon impacts through better hardware end of life extension and improved E-Wasting programs. I’m a professional mentor for 3+ years whose mentored internally and externally with individuals and with local schools. I’m an Accessibility champion having helped to bring scalable solutions for captioning, transcription and sign language for both our physical event spaces and virtual productions. I’ve sponsored DE & I initiatives focused on improving 6 of Meta’s outsourced Managed Service Providers Certified Diversified status.
