I am an accomplished nonprofit professional with 15+ years of experience creating content for fundraising materials, social media, newsletters, blog posts, and articles. Through writing collateral, designing a fundraising campaign, or crafting a program/event, I am a “YES” in utilizing my communications and marketing skills to better an organization! I always bring my creativity, open-mindedness, and collaborative approach to my projects. My empathetic nature and ability to connect with people, and focus on goals is how I support and advance nonprofits. Passionate about arts and culture, environmental, and financial policy advocacy, I have experience working with educational institutions and youth, equity, and arts organizations throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia. In addition to writing, I have significant experience in event planning, project management, and fundraising. Some of my proudest achievements include: • Creatively connecting donors with the causes that they care about • Designing and executing dozens of events, workshops, and conferences over the past 15 years • Receiving my Master’s in Public Administration at American University here in DC, setting me up to lead and promote programs.
