About Marsilda Qyli

I am the Head of Research Center for Medical Sciences, Technology and Innovation at Western Balkans University. I have completed a Bachelor study program in Biology, at Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana and after that I received a Master of Science and a PhD degree in Molecular Biology, at Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana focusing on the Role of Neurohormonal Factors in the Regulation of Hemolymph Glucose Level in Crustaceans, conducting last research study at the Universita degli Studi di Trieste, Italy. I am a member of Albanian Nanoscience and Nanotechnology Unit (NanoAlb) as part of the Academy of Sciences of Albania and also a member of Albanian Society of Human Molecular Genetics, part of National Human Genetics Societies Network. I have a long experience on teaching in public and private institutions. I have experience on research scientific work and I participated in different national and international conferences. I have several publications in different scientific journals and has participated in international conferences and training programs. My research is mainly focused on the Effects of Different Stressors in Crabs in Molecular Level. I speak Albanian, English, Italian, Spanish, German.
