Marta works at the intersection of public, private & philanthropic investment, funds, institutions, and systems, strategically leveraged for SDG-aligned impact around the globe. Her advisory work is anchored by 15 yrs' international project and blended finance transaction work, portfolio management and executive mandates in the public and private sector. Previously, Marta was a Director at CapPlus to launch a $30M private sector 'inclusive' finance pilot for the education sector across Sub-Saharan Africa. As inaugural Executive Director of Coast Funds (Canada), Marta launched operations and $120M investment through a blended finance model for conservation and sustainable development collaborating with 27 First Nations. Marta also led values-based innovators such as US-based RSF Social Finance as a Director in social enterprise, impact and (blended)philanthropic investments, and Enclude (Palladiam Impact Capital) developing MFIs in S.Asia. At Motorola's investment subsidiary, Marta led strategic partnerships and executed US$2B+ project & and blended finance solutions in the telecom sector in Asia, the Americas and Europe. She launched her career with EDC (Canada), leading global export finance activities.
