About Marta Bialko
As a Lecturer at the Department of Architectural Engineering, College of Engineering, University of Sharjah, I have been teaching and mentoring students for 12 years, while also pursuing my PhD in Engineering and Technology. I have a strong background in architecture and urban design, with 10 years of professional experience in various stages of projects, from concept to construction. My research and practice focus on sustainable design, construction and demolition waste management, and human factors that influence waste generation. I have developed and implemented innovative solutions and strategies to reduce the environmental impact of the built environment, and to enhance the quality of life and well-being of the occupants. I am passionate about advancing the knowledge and practice of integrated design, civil engineering, and construction waste management, and contributing to the academic and professional community.
